In my opinion every scientist should once in a while try to present his results in a way that is comprehensible to the public and not only to colleagues in the same field.
I would like to present some of my work here.

[2007] A.I. Poker
At Casino Virtual, human beings play poker on a real table with real cards against the two virtual characters Sam and Max. The 52 poker cards are transmitted via rfid technology in the game world. Different poker algorithms for the two characters and emotional behaviour (both visible and audible in changes of voice) are our vision of how computer games could look like in the future.
(see youtube video)

[2003] AR Toonmaker
The AR Toonmaker is an application for creating comic strips on an instrumented desk. We tried to show some concepts of Ubiquitous Computing here. More infos at the Fluidum webpage or as a short demonstration at my research videos.

[1999] Personal Picture Finder
In my diploma thesis (similar to masters) I presented an application for searching images of people on the web - before there was google image search.
